Ocean Acidification

The process of an oceans acidic level rising is called Ocean Acidification. The way the oceans acidity level rises starts is when the carbon is absorbed by the ocean. When this happens the carbon dissolves in the H2O to create carbonic acid which is a weak acid that is created through this process.
